Design is the form imagined in the mind. In this definition, the use of mental processes comes to the forefront. High-level mental processes such as finding differences, dreaming, questioning, creative thinking, critical thinking, reasoning have an important role in designing.

What is Technology and Design?

Technology and design should be handled together as they are directed towards the product development process and directly affect human life. Technology and design are concepts that directly affect each other. The relationship between the two is like the relationship between the subject and the object. In this relationship, creativity as the primary mental process emerges.

The development of the relationship between technology and design can only be possible by improving the level of creativity of the individual. In order to develop creativity, it is open and receptive to external stimuli, and requires that it be aware of emotion, desire, imagination and internal reactions.

The most important feature of the age group in which Technology and Design will be given is the desire to belong to the group and to be effective among the group members. This is a factor that prevents creativity. However, appropriate motivation, group dynamics, imagination and cooperation are developed and the use of teaching processes that will make this a positive situation.
